A664 | SWaP-optimized Fiber-Optic Rugged Managed Ethernet Switch/Router

Aitech’s A664 is a standalone SWaP-optimized 16-port managed Gigabit Ethernet switch/router comprising of 12×10/100/1000Base-T copper ports and 4x1000Base-SR multimode optical ports, housed in a rugged SFF enclosure. The A664 is a fully managed switch/router supporting both L2 and L3 networking functions and protocols, as well as secure management interfaces incl. web-based management. Special ultra-fast boot mode is supported for achieving traffic forwarding in less than 15 sec.

Weighting just 5.5lbs and measuring only 2.55” x 9.07” x 7.11” the A664 is ideal for military and defense networking environments where size, weight and power budget are limited. The quad multimode optical fiber interfaces support applications where copper cable link distance, bandwidth, or physical characteristics (weight or bulk of twisted pair, twinax or quadrax copper conductors) are unacceptable.
