SmallSat Conference August 5-10, 2023
During the 37th Annual Small Satellite Conference, we will explore future missions and delve into key technological drivers, operational constructs, and activities that inform and secure the success of small satellite missions at scale. Decades of technological advancements across the small satellite community have set the stage for new approaches to complex, large scale missions. Numerous geometries of constellations, clusters, and swarms are being developed and deployed to undertake a variety of defense, scientific, and commercial missions.
As they leverage groups of small satellites working together as a system, many of these next generation missions will require advancements across the space, launch, ground, and user segments. Autonomous information sharing, inter-satellite communications, coordinated data collection, in-space storage and processing, formation flying, data analysis, and providing solutions to the end user must all be considered for successful and seamless integration of such missions.
