COVID-19 Update for Aitech Customers
Effective Date: March 17, 2020
Dear customers, clients and friends:
In light of the evolving challenges and growing concerns around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, our primary concern is your health and well-being, and the safety of our employees. We would also like to express our deepest sympathies and support to all the families already impacted.
As of today, we can report that there have been no incidents of exposure or infection at any of our worldwide facilities. Though we are currently open, we understand that the situation is fluid and are continually monitoring communications from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local agencies for safety assurance guidance. It should be noted that our production and supply chain worldwide are continuing operations with no delays or capacity constraints.
Starting in early March, we limited employees’ travel and curtailed travel abroad and those restrictions will remain in place until further notice. In addition, we also commenced limiting external customer and supplier visits to Aitech to essential business activity only, with procedures in place to ensure a safe environment.
We enjoy working with you and are ready to support scheduled meetings and reviews as planned via teleconferences and video-conferences while this restriction is in effect. Please be assured that we have taken a number of precautionary measures to ensure safety and business continuity. We will continue to implement these plans as needed while updating you regularly with on-going communications as this situation evolves.
In all Aitech facilities, employees who can work from home are doing so and are connected by encrypted video conferences, email and secure VPN maintaining the business continuity that our customers require. If at some point it becomes necessary to temporarily close a facility as a precaution, we have enabled all essential business personnel with the necessary tools to access business information via a secure VPN, and will inform you immediately if this occurs.
Please feel free to reach out to your current point-of-contact at Aitech with any questions or concerns.
It is our great privilege to serve you. Please stay safe and our best wishes to you and your families.
