About The Position

Configuration Management Analyst, Level 2

Salary range : $90k - $120K

 

Reporting To:

Systems Engineering Manager

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Accomplish baseline configuration management for hardware, software, and all controlled documentation / reports by owning and executing change control board processes

·      Identify, organize, and control hardware and software configuration changes. Coordination of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and the approval of the documents per company procedures

·      Coordinate ECNs with Engineering and Operations to identify implementation /effectivity aspects

·      Develop and maintain tools for standardizing drawing and document release reviews

·      Identify and coordinate processes for version management, system build, archiving, and change management via chairing configuration control board

·      Monitor & manage parts obsolescence

·      Manage counterfeit parts program

·      Responsible for components evaluation

 

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

 ·      Minimum 3 to 5 years of configuration management experience

·      Strong verbal and written communication skills

·      Working knowledge of the MS Office tools (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

·      Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools (Arena or equivalent) is a plus

·      Familiarity with space industry standard EEE-INST-002 is a plus

·      Components Engineering experience for mil/aero and/or space programs is a plus

·      Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as cohesively within a team environment with minimal supervision

 


EDUCATION:

BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the United States
