R&D Quality Engineer
About The Position
- Monitoring the implementation of GATES in the product R&D processes
- Performing internal quality audits of the R&D processes and accompanying external quality audits (customers, certification bodies)
- Quality Plans (QPP) preparation in accordance with regulations, customer requirements and company procedures, and its implementation control in projects
- Implementation of quality requirements and quality processes in the R&D processes (for off-the-shelf products and for customers’ projects).
- Establishment and maintenance of quality indicators in R&D
- Analyzing and investigating failures using 8D methodically
- Implementation of software quality methodologies in R&D
- Participation in change committees during the development process (CCB)
- Approval of reliability, availability, maintainability and testability analyzes (MTBF, FMECA, etc.)
- Approval of safety analyzes in accordance with military and industry standards
- Accompany V&V and Qualification proof of design processes in accordance with military and industry standards.
Requirements
- Engineering education - electronics engineer
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as a quality engineer working with customers in Israel and abroad
- Trained in the fields of quality management, quality assurance, quality engineering and reliability
- Knowledge of hardware and software development methodologies in the world of military and civil aviation (advantage)
- Knowledge of design proof methodologies such as MIL-STD-810, RTCA-DO-160, DO-254, etc.
- Knowledge of international standardization systems such as Quality management (ISO9001, AS9100, etc.)
- Knowledge of Software quality management according to the requirements of international standards (ISO 90003/AS 9115)
- Knowledge of Safety Management standard (MIL-STD-882)
- Good human relations, systemic vision, assertive, thorough and able to distinguish between the important and the unimportant
- A high level of written and oral expression in Hebrew and English
