About The Position

Qualification & Skills
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related discipline
- At least 7+ years direct experience in system testing.
Skills/Experience:
· Product Testing
· Experience in ATE handling/debugging
· Proven experience as team player within a multi-site environment
· Knowledge of technology areas – Ethernet Switches
· Ability to read system schematics, Fault Finding at PCB level.
· Knowledge of EPA and OSHA guidelines.
· Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
· Extensive knowledge of aerospace materials, components, and equipment, including their handling, storage, and transportation requirements.
· Proficiency in production related activities SAP/ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
Planning: Developing detailed testing plan jointly with PPC & maintenance Plans/schedules, deploying the controls and monitoring.
Resource management: Ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and collaborating with PPC & Purchase to ensure proper resource utilization.
Spare parts Inventory management: Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, and planning and releasing requisition for spares and other consumables
Manufacturing Process: Understanding of Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Time Study, Process Optimization.
Production issues: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization targeting to minimize delays
· Reporting: Compiling management reports on overall plant performance, and preparing MIS reports
· Familiarity with purchasing processes.
· Engineering processes and configuration control: Development of Production documentation (Process Flow charts, Process instructions, Work Instructions, Checklist etc.). Reviewing of Data-package for correctness & completeness
Quality control: Implementing quality control measures to meet product standards (ISO:9001-2015 – Mandatory, AS9100D - Nice to have). Deploying 5s, Kaizen
· Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities within the industry.
· Proficiency in risk management practices, including assessing and mitigating potential risks associated with transportation, storage, and handling of aerospace materials and equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Testing
a. Test execution: End to end activities from planning, executing, analysis and reporting on test activities by following standard practices and procedures (WI's, SOP, Guidelines, etc.). Testing will be done mostly on site.
b. Collaborate with engineering staff to create test plans and processes, and ensure they are followed.
c. Documentation: Managed and interfaced with Product Line Team for test documentation throughout the Test Product Life Cycle.
d. Manage Lab space, tools, equipment, calibration
e. Defect resolution: Identify, report, and resolve defects in a timely manner
f. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve high quality products
g. Mentoring: Provide guidance, training, and mentoring of Test Engineers, junior engineers, graduates and apprentices; and support other team members
h. NPI: New product introduction from engineering to manufacturing
i. Testing environments: Manage tests across multiple environments and channels
j. Test station build-up, calibration, purchasing and maintenance.
k. Emerging technologies: Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.
l. Experience with testing for harsh environments such as vibration, radiation, shock, thermal vacuum and humidity, and proper mechanical test fixturing
m. To identify opportunities and execute action plans to drive yield improvement and test time reductions to meet targeted yields and costs
n. Coordinate efforts with software engineers to identify test automation opportunities, to ensure testability issues are addressed during product life cycle
o. Manpower Management: Deputize for Test engineer & technician during periods of absence
p. Facilitate product quality improvement by investigating customer complaints
q. Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) – AS9100D
r. Analytical mindset, troubleshooting skills to support the hardware and software integration process and troubleshoot test-related issues.
2. Maintenance
a. Installation, Troubleshooting & repair: Installation, fault Diagnosis, repair equipment problems & testing repaired equipment’s
b. Routine maintenance: Planning and Carrying out regular/scheduled maintenance on plants and Maintenance Process Audits
c. Preventive maintenance: Creating maintenance procedures and implement to prevent equipment issues and minimize downtime
d. Identifying and implementing improvements: Identify opportunities for process or equipment improvements and develop and implement solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance.
e. Training: Train staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
f. Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
g. Supervising contractors for outsourced maintenance activities
h. Ordering and tracking spare parts and equipment: Ensure that mandatory spares are available when needed.
i. Managing maintenance budgets: Maintenance engineers manage maintenance budgets and ensure that all maintenance activities stay within budgetary constraints.
j. Maintaining documentation and records: Responsible for maintaining accurate records and documenting all maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repair logs and equipment performance metrics.
k. Time management: Maintenance engineers manage their time effectively and balance competing priorities and deadlines to ensure that maintenance activities progress in a timely and efficient manner. They may prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure to minimize disruptions.
l. Safety compliance: Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards by identifying and mitigate potential safety hazards.
